um, yes. I DID rather disappear into the summer. It was a corker, really, BEST SUMMER EVER. There was sunshine and lurching around the paddling pool and picnics and playing out and running and a trip to The Piny North and more sunshine and a brand new library card for my bear (sob. next stop is a driving licence... he's so BIG!)
There was a big step forward for my brother (he's in school today; I'm so proud I could snivel) and more sunshine. And Pilates (PIRATES! ARRGH!) class. And some moving for our chums (which is a mixture of yay for them and boo for us). And a birthday party that was a giant heap o'fun. and and and...
Now it feels like back to school time, all poignant like and like I want to be sharpening brand new pencils and giving in to the auto-didactic spasm, (Anglo-Saxon history = fun times!).
I'm feeling a little bummed about the upcoming Big Wardrobe Switchover. Perhaps a few refashions are in order.
Ok. enough about me! I'm going to race around and see what you've all been up to.

And, one more thing, a driver's license for your little bear is still WAY WAY WAY off. Like nearly five thousand "sleeps" off! No need to worry about that yet.
